The Sunday Special is On
The fourth running of the Sunday Special during the 2020 888poker Millions Superstorm is set to get underway. Through the Millions Superstorm, there's $8 million guaranteed and today marks the final running of the Sunday Special during the series, with Day 2 of the Main Event running next Sunday.
Last week, "yarik1903" turned their $215 into almost $20K in the third running of the Sunday Special. They made their way through a field of 458 entries, including 113 re-entries, to take down the $19,350 top prize in less than nine hours. "777ibi" took it down the week before, and in the first edition of the Sunday Special three weeks ago, Fabrizio "DrMiKee" Gonzalez took down the top prize of $19,350.
Action gets underway at 1 p.m. eastern time, and players will play 12 minute levels through the day until a winner is decided. They'll start the day with 50,000 chips, and players can fire up to three re-entries during the 210 minute late entry period.
