Three Main Events on Deck for Final Day of 2021 XL Spring Series
It's the final day of the 888poker 2021 XL Spring Series today, and the marquee event is the $500,000 guaranteed Main Event. Action for the Main gets underway to 1 p.m. eastern time.
There are three different Main Events on deck for today, with the Mini Main running at 1:30 p.m. eastern with a $33 buy-in and $50,000 guaranteed. The Micro Main costs $5.50 to enter and gets under way at 2 p.m. eastern time with $15,000 guaranteed.
All versions of the Main Event allow up to three rebuys during the registration period, which is 270 minutes for the big game. PokerNews will be following the action on the big version of the Main Event, so stay tuned here.
Blinds for the Main Event start at 50/100/12 and increase every 15 minutes through the day. Play on the Main will continue today until one player has collected all the chips.
With about 90 minutes to go till the start of play, there are about 500 entries already in the game. So far, none of the 888poker ambassador team have made an appearance in the player list, but Vivian "Vivi.888." Saliba has had a solid series. She has been the last ambassador standing in several events, and final tabled XL Spring #11 - $30,000 PKO for a 7th place finish worth $974 in bounty and prizes.
It seems likely we'll see Saliba when action for the Main Event gets underway at 2 p.m. eastern time.
