Miller Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action checked to Bryant Miller on the button, with the board showing {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Miller bet 15,000, and got calls from Teng Vang under the gun and Joseph Spanne on the cutoff.

Vang and Spanne both checked again, and Miller continued for 40,000, getting both opponents to fold.

Rodriguez Sends Wagner to a Quick Exit

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On one of the first hands of the day, Greg Wagner check-raised all in against Noel Rodriguez' 15,000 bet on a {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, and Rodriguez made the call.

Greg Wagner: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Noel Rodriguez: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The turn and river {5-Diamonds} and {2-Spades} brought no help to Wagner, who goes out in 60th place for the min cash of $2,480.

The $1,650 Ante Up World Championship reaches its climax today, as the 60 players who made it through the Day 1 flights return to the Thunder Valley Poker Room for Day 2. A winner will be crowned at the end of play today, and that player will go home with the championship and first-place prize of $135,798.

Play resumes at Noon today, with 38 minutes and 20 seconds remaining in Level 15 and the blinds at 3000/6000 with a 6,000 big blind ante.
