The final day of the Ante Up Poker Tour Atlantis $1,100 Main Event is here, as Day 2 begins today at the Atlantis Casino in Reno, Nevada.

The final 24 players come back today for a noon restart in this $200,000 guaranteed event. The championship and the first place prize of $47,902 will be on the line, and that prize package includes a $1,650 entry into the 2020 Ante Up World Championship Main Event.

Play will resume with 36 minutes left in Level 16, with the blinds at 2500/5000 and a 5,000 big blind ante. The field will play 40-minute levels until a champion is crowned, with 15-minute breaks after every two levels.

John Nethery goes into Day 2 as the overall chip leader with 637,500. Nethery is nearly 200,000 chips ahead of the next-closest player in the chip counts, which is the well-accomplished Loren Klein.

Klein, a two-time Run It Up Reno Main Event Champion, will be looking to add the Ante Up Atlantis Main Event Championship to his long list of tournament accomplishments. Nethery, Klein and Marshall Barnes (374,500) all came out of the Day 1b flight and are the top three overall chip leaders.

Shawn Daniels (360,500), Valerie Hanley (353,000) and Madison Austria (249,000) are playing with the next three highest chip stacks, all coming from the Day 1a flight. Valerie Hanley is joined in the final 24 by her husband Dick Hanley (47,000), the shortest stack in the room at the beginning of today’s play.

Ryan Awwad (177,500), who finished on the money bubble on Day 1a, came back for Day 1b and made it through to Day 2. Others in the field include accomplished tournament players like Scott Davies (107,500) and Joe Elpayaa (99,000).

All 24 remaining players are already in the money and will earn at least a min-cash of $1,904.
