One with Wakeman and Feldman
We recently watched Matt Wakeman and Joel Feldman lose a small pot each on their respective tables. This is how the action that we saw went down.
- When we arrived at Feldman's table, there was a board already out on the felt and Feldman was leading for 5,500 from the small blind position, with more than 14,000 already in the pot. His opponent, in late position, thought for a long time before opting to make the call. Feldman's was tabled and then slid into the muck when his opponent turned over .
- Over on Wakeman's table, he was busy check-calling a bet of 975 on the turn of a board against one opponent. The completed the board on the river and Wakeman again checked. This time his opponent looked at Wakeman's stack size before betting 2,275. Wakeman thought for quite some time here, before deciding to let his cards go.
With that, Feldman is down to just over 10,000 and despite losing this small pot, Wakeman has had a solid afternoon, now sitting with a stack of more than 30,000.
