David Allan had been waiting patiently to strike all afternoon, so with a few more chips in hand, he decided to put the pressure on Ken Demlakian. Allan��s timing was off, but the result was pretty good nonetheless.

Allan opened to 32,000 from the button, before Demlakian three-bet to 76,000 from the big blind. Allan responded by moving all in for 370,000 with Demlakian making a quick call.

Allan had his tournament life on the line, but the board ran out {8-Hearts} {k-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {a-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} to see Allan spike his king to double through. Allan is now back in contention as Demlakian takes a dent to his empire.
