Final Table Time!
At 2:00 PM local time the final table of the PokerStars.com ANZPT Melbourne Main Event will kick off. A tough battle awaits as the winner today will go home with a A$172,500 first place prize!
Last night, Ashley Warner jumped into a massive lead after winning a huge cooler versus Hugh Cohen. He will start today with the lead, but Peter Matusik isn't far behind. Matusik starts today third in chips as he's trying to become the first double ANZPT Main Event winner. Matusik took down the Gold Coast event back in 2011 for A$145,000.
Youngsters Paul Hockin, Michael Guzzardi, Anthony Aston and the aforementioned Warner will most likely have the biggest support. When play concluded at 5:30 AM last night there were still around 20 friends hanging around, and we expect a rowdy scene again today!
