Broom Runs into Trouble with the Ladies
Iori Yogo and James Broom have just collided in a huge preflop clash as this ANZPT Perth Main Event continues to steamroll towards a final table.
The hand started with an open from a player, at which point Yogo flat-called from the button. Broom three-bet to 27,500 from the small blind, the opener got out of the way, and Yogo added another 52,500 to the bet with a four-bet. With the action back on Broom he went deep into the tank. With his cap pulled down low, Broom studied his opponent for a good three or four minutes before announcing himself all in. Yogo instantly called and Broom wasn't pleased.

Broom would need an ace but the board fell to miss both players and leave the queens to double up. The total of Yogo's stack was 361,000, for a huge double up into the chip lead, as Broom was left with 125,000.
