King of Queenstown Snowfest Set to be Crowned
Five days ago, the final stop on Season 5 of the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour began. There were 126 total entrants hoping to become the king of the ANZPT Queenstown Main Event.
Today only nine players are still in contention to bring home the title.
Leading the way with almost a third of the total chips in play is Australia's Jonathan Bredin. Over the last few days Bredin has shown he can rumble with the best of them and is certainly the one to beat.
The second largest stack is one of only two New Zealand players at the table in Jon Pierre Narbey, while Daniel Laidlaw, Daniel Neilson and Ricky Kroesen are some of the notable names still in contention for the NZ$93,600 first-place prize.
