Damelian Takes Chips From Chrisanthopoulos

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Damelian has started Day 3 on the perfect note with a big double up to start the day. With the cry of all in and call we hurried over to Table 28 to see a board of {2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Damelian had moved all in for his last 153,000 and Michael Chrisanthopoulos made the call.

Damelian showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a set but Chrisanthopoulos had hope with his {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flush draw. Chrisanthopoulos needed a diamond but the {8-Hearts} river gave the big double to Damelian to over 500,000, leaving Chrisanthopoulos down to around 120,000.

Kempson Pushes Damelian Around

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Corey Kempson has flexed his big stack during these early stages of the day.

We picked up the action on the turn of a {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} board, with Kempson and Roberto Damelian tussling. There was what looked like around 90,000 already in the pot and Kempson had checked to Damelian, who bet 45,000. Back on Kempson and he moved all in, putting Demalian at risk.

Damelian had around 240,000 behind and went deep into the tank.

Eventually he folded and Kempson casually mucked his cards and raked in the chips.
