Benson raised to 1,500 preflop and was called by Wayne Carlson. The rest of Benson's chips, 6,900 in total, went into the pot after the dealer spread a flop of {9-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {7-Spades}. Carlson called with top pair, {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, and found himself in great shape against Benson's unimproved {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}. The turn and river came {2-Diamonds} and {j-Hearts} to knock Benson out of the tournament.
