Griffin may have been reeling from a previous hand in which he lost out to Eric Assadourian's set of jacks. He raised to 5,000 from the cutoff prior to the big blind, with Michael Whibley reraising to 15,000. Griffin shipped it all in from there and was snap-called by Whibley.
