Benton Gets Two

Once Leo Boxell announced a raise from the small blind, Aaron Benton called out of the big blind. He didn't even wait to see how much Boxell had raised to. Boxell made it 200,000.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}

after Boxell had checked in the dark. Benton checked behind.

The turn card was the {4-Hearts}

and Boxell checked. Benton fired 100,000 and Boxell called.

The river was the {4-Clubs}

and Boxell checked. Benton fired 150,000 and Boxell called. Boxell held {A-Diamonds}

, but Benton flopped trips and went on to make a full house holding {K-Hearts}

Boxell dropped to 1.3 million and Benton went back up to 6.0 million.

After the hand, Boxell and Benton joked, having a conversation that sounded like this:

Boxell: "If there was one jack, I get all your chips! But you get two!"
Benton: "I always get two, that's never a doubt."
Boxell: "I'm on tilt now."
