No Talking for Rubie
Eddy Sabat opened to 16,000-chip min-raise from under the gun and Brendon Rubie three-bet his big blind to 42,000.
Sabat made the call as the flop fell and Rubie checked. Sabat tossed in a bet of just 8,000 to prompt Rubie to check-raise to 50,000.
Taking a few moments, Sabat made the call as the rolled off on the turn and Rubie led for 60,000.
Spending near four minutes in the tank, Sabat attempted to exchange some banter with Rubie, but he remained unmoved.
Eventually - after checking his hole cards again - Sabat slid his cards towards the muck while slipping to 158,500.
"C'mon Brendooor!" screamed Mark Iskander from the rail.
"He might have wanted a call!" laughed Sabat.
"I do normally like to talk in a hand. I just was a bit nervous!" added Rubie as he collected the pot to move to 545,000 in chips.
