Honeybone Chops, Doubles, Crippled Then Eliminated

James Honeybone having a flush flopped on him
James Honeybone having a flush flopped on him

James Honeybone tried and tried to recover from his cripple against Ardmore Vakalahi . . . but in the end he was forced to make his way to the rail.

It was one helluva ride though!

With an all in for 5,375, James Honeybone followed suit for roughly 1,500 as the remainder of the table folded.

Honeybone: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to see the pot chopped up as Honeybone climbed to around 2,000.

A few hands later Honeybone shoved his last 1,750 into the pot and was called by the same opponent from the previous hand out of the small blind.

Honeybone: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} to see Honeybone make a flush to move to 3,950.

Then just two hands later, the cutoff - who was amazingly again the same opponent from the previous two hands - moved all in for 3,475 and Honeybone made the call.

Honeybone: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

With the flop landing {5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} to give Honeybone's opponent a flush, the {J-Diamonds} and {4-Spades} on the turn and river changed little as Honeybone was left with just 400.

"If I come back from this, it will be sick!" uttered Honeybone before adding, "I'm all in blind for the next six hands!"

However that next hand would be Honeybone's last as his {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} would be unable to best Ricky Kroesen's {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on a final board of {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} to see Honeybone finally hit the rail as Kroesen climbs to 85,000 in chips.
