Final Table Set; Brotha D Leading!

After nearly six full levels of play, the final table has been set for the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Auckland Main Event!
Twenty-eight players made their way to the SKYCITY Auckland Casino just after midday to battle down until just a final table of nine remained. With four players needing to fall until we reached the money, action was relatively fast as Linh Tran was awarded the unwanted title of bubble boy when his top-pair kicker was dominated by Tom Grigg.
Julius Colman (23rd), Damien Wong (21st) and Luke Edwards (11th) all fought gallantly, but would up on the rail as 2009 eighth-place finisher Lance Climo's fairy-tale pursuit of back-to-back final tables fell short by just one when he bubbled the the elusive final table in 10th place.

The Godfather of New Zealand Hip Hop - Danny 'Brotha D' Leaoasavaii - is sitting atop the leaderboard after using a hot run of cards, the support of the rail and plenty of skill to amass a 636,000-chip stack. Snapping at his heels is PokerStars Online Qualifier Srdjan Mitrovic who trails by just several antes, while overnight chip leader Tom Grigg is nestled behind them.
Throw in a couple of Europeans and tournament stalwart Leo Boxell, and picking the eventual winner is still anyones guess as they will all be fighting hard to capture the $123,058 (NZ$170,000) first prize and title of APPT Auckland Champion!
