A Tough Crowd
An early table break has moved Roger Spets to the new toughest table in town. He's in the three hole over there on Table 9, and he'll have to deal with John Phan on his right and Team PokerStars Pro Eric Assadourian to his left for the foreseeable future.
We pick up the action at that table: Georgios Santorinaios opened with an under-the-gun raise to 600, and he found calls from both Phan and Spets. The flop came out , and Santorinaios fired 1,200 there, and another 2,100 on the turn. Spets didn't make it past the flop, but Phan called both streets to see the fill out the board. When Santorinaios fired a final bet of 3,500, Phan shuffled his cards in his hands. He had two spades (it looked like king-nine or possibly ten-nine of spades) and into the muck they went.
Phan - 14,500
