Fabian Spielmann Eliminated in 4th Place (HKD 1,019,000)

Fabian Spielmann - 4th Place
Fabian Spielmann - 4th Place

From the small blind, Jeff Rossiter raised. Fabian Spielmann reraised all in from the big blind and Rossiter quickly called.

Rossiter: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Spielmann: {K-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Spielmann took the lead. Rossiter added a huge draw, so Spielmann wasn't out of the woods just yet.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and landed Rossiter with a flush. Spielmann was drawing dead going to the river, which completed the board with the {8-Diamonds}.

Big Pot Goes Rossiter's Way

From the button, Jimmy Pan raised to 200,000. Jeff Rossiter reraised from the big blind to 480,000 and Pan called.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Rossiter bet 415,000. Pan called to see the turn, which added the {4-Hearts} to the board. Rossiter checked and Pan bet 675,000. Rossiter called.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Rossiter checked. Pan took some time to think about things and then checked behind.

Rossiter turned over the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Pan mucked, claiming a "very sick" turn card.

Zuo Wang Eliminated in 5th Place (HKD 809,000)

Zuo Wang - 5th place
Zuo Wang - 5th place

It was looking like Zuo Wang was the next player most likely to hit the rail and that has just become a reality as a recent hand saw Wang bite the dust.

The action started with Wang shoving all in for his last 530,000 and getting calls from both Jeff Rossiter and Randy Lew in the blinds. Both Rossiter and Lew checked on the turn and river as a {7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} board was spread across the felt.

Wang watched on as Lew again checked before Rossiter threw out 700,000. Lew then tanked for some time before cutting down his stack and making it 1,700,000 to go. Rossiter made a quick call and watched as Lew tabled his {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a queen-high straight, enough to trump the jack-high straight with {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} which Rossiter held.

Wang opened up his {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} and sent them into the muck, a devastating result after hitting a much desired set. Wang goes home in 5th place and receives a respectable HKD 809,000.

With that monster hand, Randy Lew is the new chipleader!
