Tony Hachem

Tony Hachem has just managed to explain to PokerNews why he sits with a handy 55,000-chip stack, relaying this hand to us just moments ago.

Apparently, Hachem made it 600 to go preflop, with two players from late position and an early-position limper making the call to see a flop of {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

With the pot at roughly 2,400, the early-position limper fired out 6,000 -- two-and-a-half times the pot. It was at this point that Hachem asked his opponent how much he had behind. Hachem was told it was another 11,000, at which point Hachem said, "Alright, I'm all in." His opponent made the call and Hachem said, "You've got ace-jack?" His opponent turned over {a-}{j-} and asked Hachem, "How did you know?"

"Yeah, I've just been playing this game a long time now," Hachem replied as he turned over his {k-}{k-}.

The {k-Hearts} on the turn and the {3-Hearts} on the river would be no help to Hachem's opponent who held no hearts, as Hachem moved to 55,000 with his set of kings.
