Gavin Vickers Eliminated in 12th Place (NZD$7,720)

Gavin Vickers - 12th Place
Gavin Vickers - 12th Place

There was a slew of aggression over at Tom Grigg's table, with the following hand resulting in the elimination of Gavin Vickers.

The action started when Hugh Cohen opened the pot to 8,500 from under the gun and received calls from Carl Knox on the button and Tom Grigg from the small blind. It was at this point that Gavin Vickers moved all-in from the big blind, with his short-stack resulting in only a 2,000 chip raise. All the players made the call and Vickers would have to watch the hand play out while his tournament life was on the line.

As the board was dealt out {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} the three players in the hand would fire out bets and calls over the place and when all was said in the done Grigg would go to showdown with Cohen.

The {j-Spades}{5-Spades} of Grigg would be too good for the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} of Cohen, while Vickers hand also went into the muck, sending him home in 12th place for a NZD$7,720 score.
