Kanaan Moving Above Six Figures
Michael Kanaan has been on cruise control here on Day 2 of the 2012 APPT Melbourne Main Event. He recently eliminated a player to move above a six-figure stack.
The hand began when David Gorr opened the pot to 2,200. Kanaan called on Gorr's direct left and the player on the button shoved for 13,600. Gorr got out of the way and Kanaan called, flipping over .
"Race off," said the at-risk player as he tabled .
The board was no good for the player, with Kanaan picking up all the chips and another player hitting the rail.
