Boxell Battling After Big Turn Fold
The defending champion Leo Boxell is now one of the shorter stacks in the room as we approach the money bubble. We recently arrived at his table to find a board on the felt and with Boxell in the tank with a decision for the rest of his chips. According to the table, this is how the action played out.
Sam Razavi opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and Boxell called out of the big blind. Ont he flop, Boxell checked and Razavi put in a continuation bet. Boxell then check-raised and Razavi called. On the turn, Boxell lead with a bet and Razavi shoved, having Boxell well covered.
Boxell tanked for a long, long time, eventually opting to fold, showing the as he did so. Razavi raked in his new chips, turning over for an open-ended straight draw as he did so.
