The end of Elton Tsang's tournament life began when Kenneth Wong opened it to 26,000 in the cutoff. Daisuke Endo made the call on the button and it was on Tsang in the small blind. This is when Tsang shoved. Wong got out of the way and Daisuke made the call.

When Rafael Rodrigo opened the action with , Takuya Kikuchi would shove his short stack in holding . The rest of the table was out of the way and Rodrigo made the call.
It was a classic race and as is usual, there can only be one winner. The board meant that the winner would be Rodrigo. Kikuchi was out the door in 15th place, picking up KRW 9,000,000.
Just one hand after his double up to back over 300,000, Michael Guzzardi raised to 20,000 from middle position. Tom Alner jammed all in from the button for 173,000. In the big blind, Takuya Kikuchi reraised all in for 265,000. Guzzardi said he had planned to call Alner, but now had to fold. He did so and watched Alner table the and Kikuchi the .
The flop, turn and river ran out to give Alner a runner-runner Broadway straight and move to to 379,000 in chips.
After Jhana Hale opened with a raise to 23,000 from middle position, Michael Guzzardi reraised all in for 141,000 from the hijack seat. Action folded back to Hale. He got the count, then called. Unfortunately, he saw the bad news as he was behind. Hale held the and Guzzardi the .
The flop came down and Hale spiked a queen to move in front. Guzzardi still had outs to a king for a better pair or a jack for a straight.
The turn delivered with the for Guzzardi was he was back in the lead. The river landed with the and completed the board. Guzzardi successfully doubled and is back over 300,000 in chips.

When the action was folded around to Chris Lee on the button he shoved all in for his last 79,000. Jose Severino was in the small blind and made a quick call. The big blind got out of the way and the two players turned their hands over.
