Little Deja Vu
Yesterday saw the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Oliver Speidel storm the chip leader board early in the day. Today we the runner-up in that same event, Kenneth Wong do exactly the same thing.
A recent hand saw a player open the action from the hijack seat and Wong then three-bet from the small blind. the player made the call and the flop was dealt. Wong led for 1,500 on the flop and his opponent called as the hit the turn. Wong again led, this time for 5,500. His opponent called and the hit the river.
Wong didn't slow down here, firing out 7,000. This is when his opponent min-raised to 14,000. Wong gave a shrug as he flicked in the call and his opponent said, "That's all i got, ace-high," as he flashed an . Wong turned over his and took down the nice pot.
