Ruling Favours Medina
Tournament Director Danny McDonagh was just called over to Table 10 to make a ruling on an incident that occurred in a recent hand.
It all started with Abhishek Goindi opening to 2,800 from the cut off before Jose Medina raised to 7,200 from the big blind. Goindi then re-raised to 27,800 and was met with an instant all from Medina for 46,800 in chips.
Goindi dropped his cards towards his chips in disgust, which looked like a muck. The dealer not noticing, announced how much the all in was and Goindi quickly retrieved his cards, not realizing that the all in bet wasn't to much more to call. A few players, as well as Medina, questioned whether or not he was allowed to take his cards back, after it looked like he had folded.
McDonagh was called over, and after hearing what the dealer, players, and another tournament director had to say, ruled that the hand was still live, resulting in Goindi making the call.

The ruling favoured Medina, who dodged a straight draw on a board reading 
to see him move up to 95,000. Goindi drops down to 43,000 in chips.
