Jim Collopy Leads The Final Table

And then there were nine. After four days of poker here at the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino, 158 players have been whittled down to our final table at the Pokerstars.net APPT Main Event in Cebu, Philippines. And what a diverse final table it is. We have representatives from the USA, Korea, Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Canada here today. Who will come out on top?

Leading the way in both chips and notability is Jim Collopy. The 24 year old poker pro has won millions online, and has plenty of live success to his name as well. In 2013 alone, Collopy has a 3rd place at the Aussie Millions, and a bracelet win at the recent WSOP Asia-Pacific under his belt. He comes into today with the chip lead with 605,000, and is hoping to secure his second major tournament title in as many months.

After Collopy, we have a slew of virtual unknowns rounding out our final table. The player in best position to challenge Collopy is 27 year old Bawod Hyunshik Yun, who comes into today with 528,000. Yun won a huge race late yesterday, when his pocket jacks bested the Ace-King of Andrew Nguyen.

Not far behind is Daniel Spence, who entered yesterday as the chip leader. He stuck toward the top throughout the day, and will come into today with 450,000. Below you can see the rest of the players and their stacks, and also see where they will be sitting at the final table.
