Zhou Catches Ward's Bluff
In the few hands after the break, Zhou Zhou has been hard to get chips off of and seems to be growing his lead. On this hand, he check-called three streets against Thomas Ward to take down the biggest pot so far in heads up play.
Ward limped the button and Zhou checked his option. The flop came and Zhou checked to Ward. Ward bet 120,000 and Zhou called.
The turn was the and Zhou checked again. Ward bet 260,000 and Zhou called.
The river was more of the same, Zhou saw the hit the river and roughly about 10 seconds after tapped his left fist on the table. Ward bet again, just like the previous streets and this time Ward put out a bet of 620,000.
Zhou took a moment to call, but only because he was busy counting out the chips to call and once he was done, he slid them into the middle.
Ward showed for a busted straight draw and an apparent bluff. Zhou showed top pair with and won the pot.
