The 2019 PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Jeju is getting close to its end, with the ?6,000,000 taking place in Shinhwa World's Landing Casino. Originally scheduled as a three-day event, it has been reprogrammed as a two-day event, for Friday June 28th and Saturday June 29th.

The first day of the event is in the books, and it is China's Ye Wang who managed to grab the lead after ten 40-minute levels. He will start in Day 2 with 375,500 in chips, with almost double the stack of the second player in the chip count, who is Jingxuan Zhu with 206,500.

Ye Wang knows for sure, what success means in Jeju, since his biggest live cash came here, in 2018 Red Dragon Jeju ?15,000,000 Single Day High Roller, where he defeated everybody to come out with the trophy and a first place prize of ?253,800,000 (~$229,000). This cash constitutes more than half his lifetime cashes, with approximately $390,000 in total career earnings from live tournaments.

Out of the 13 players that will return for Day 3, only six will put money in their pockets, as seven will be forced to leave empty-handed. The minimum prize will be ?14,618,000 (~$12,600), while the winner will bring home ?70,999,000 (~$61,400) plus the trophy.
