At 3 p.m. local time, the most-expensive tournament of the 2019 PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Korea festival gets underway on the Paradise City poker tables at Incheon, South Korea. The ?10,000,000 APPT Super High Roller will determine a champion over the next two days and the buy-in equals approximately $8,767.

Plenty of notables from nearby countries China, Japan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong are expected to join the action such as Michael Soyza, Danny Tang, and Chin Wei Lim. Dutchman Martijn Gerrits has also made the trip over to Incheon, albeit it was a short one as Gerrits currently resides in Macau.

The Super High Roller features a starting stack of 250,000 and levels of 40 minutes throughout the entire tournament with late registration and re-entry available in the first nine levels and following break. Day 1 will play a total of 12 levels and all survivors will return the following day as of 1 p.m. local time to play down to a champion. Thursday, April 11th, 2019, also features a One-Day High Roller with a buy-in of ?5,000,000 and the first starting day of the ?2,000,000 Main Event.

At the start of the tournament a 30 second shot clock and time bank with a value of 30 seconds per time bank will be put into play. Each player will receive 6 time banks with an additional 3 time banks being issued at the start of Day 2 as well as at the Final Table. The tournament will be played with the new and popular Big Blind Ante format, in an all-in situation the Big Blind will be posted prior to the Ante.
