Having bested a field that was jam-packed with some of the best tournament poker players in the world, 28-year-old Eric Assadourian has just earned the title of PokerStars.net 2007 APPT Macau High Roller Event Champion. Congratulations Eric, from all of us here at PokerNews!

The next stop on the APPT is Sydney, Australia for the APPT Grand Final, which will be held at the Star City Casino. The event begins on Friday, December 7th and will continue through Sunday, December 16. PokerNews will be on site starting Wednesday, December 12th for the start of the APPT Grand Final Main Event and we hope to see you there.
