2005 WSOP Main Event Champion Joe Hachem is off to a fast start this afternoon. Moments ago, Hachem eliminated Nick Assiotis from the tournament after flopping the stone-cold nuts, holding {J-Spades}

when the board came {7-Spades}

All of the money went in on the flop, and at the showdown Assiotis revealed the {Q-Clubs}

for an open-ended straight draw, needing to catch a jack to stay alive. The turn and river blanked out {7-Hearts}

and Hachem's straight held up to win the pot.

After the hand, the former chiropractor stacked up 112,000 in chips, joining the short list of names with six-figure chip stacks.
