ACOP Day 2; Young Leads, Colman In Contention

Welcome to Day 2 of the PokerStars.net Asia-Pacific Poker Tour ACOP Main Event held in the PokerStars LIVE room at the City of Dreams in Macau.
Rory Young is the man to catch returning with 150,100 having grabbed the lead early yesterday and continuing to steadily accumulate chips. Close behind him is Jian Yang with 147,600 and third place belongs to Dong Guo with 120,400.
Registration is open until the start of play but so far there have been 286 entrants with 175 survivors returning today. Those figures mean the HK$15,000,000 has easily been surpassed and PokerNews will bring you the details of the prize pool as soon as it is available.
Daniel Colman is continuing his remarkable year. Having finished seventh in the Super High Roller here a couple days ago he made a late surge yesterday to finish fourth with 102,900. One of the most talented players in the world today is surely a force to be reckoned with holding a stack like that, and it will be fascinating to see how he deals with Guo who is sat to his immediate left on Table 20 (seat draw below.)
Some of the other big names we will be reporting on include Joseph Cheong (94,300), Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (91,600), Sam Cohen (78,300), Terrence Chan (77,000), Jack Salter (59,500), Dimitar Danchev (52,500), Joe Hachem (50,200), Dan Smith (48,400) and Kitty Kuo (39,500).
Two other Team PokerStars Pros made it through to the second day bagging just over starting stacks, namely Eugene Katchalov (39,400) and Jonathan Duhamel (33,400).
Cards are in the air at 3 p.m. local time resuming at level eight (blinds 400 / 800 / 100) with the action set to last five 90-minute levels of play and, for those players still in the mood to celebrate, an official ACOP Welcome Party follows at the Hard Rock Hotel Poolside.
