Can Anyone Stop David Steicke?

At this point, we're really not sure. Steicke is carving up his opponents this morning. On a flop of {2-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} with plenty of chips already in the middle, Steicke had first action. He bet 20,000, then called when his lone opponent moved in for 40,000.

Steicke: {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Spades} {6-Spades}

Top pair wasn't enough against Steicke's overpair of sevens. The {10-Spades} on the turn helped neither player; the {7-Clubs} river gave Steicke an unnecessary set and the pot. He's up to 175,000

"Well, I might as well just give my chips to the chip leader and let him win it," joked table mate Emanuel Bell. "He might give me something later."

"A few glasses of bubbly, for sure," replied Steicke. The very next hand Bell tried to give his chips away, opening all in for about 20,000. Action passe to Steicke's button. He squeezed his cards and said, "Whaaa? What are you doing?"

Steicke considered his action for about ten seconds and then said, "I'm gonna lay it down." The blinds both passed, keeping Bell in the tournament -- for now.
