This Round to Arce

Casey Kastle and Neil Arce are each trying to position themselves to be in good shape for the start of Day 2 play. They tangled in a recent pot, with Arce getting the best of it. Five limpers took a flop of {9-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {2-Spades}. Kastle was first to act and bet 1,300 into the 4,000-chip pot. Arce raised him to 3,000, chasing everyone else out of the pot. Kastle made the call.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}. Castle checked to Arce, who counted down his stack of 17,000 chips before betting 5,000. Castle thought it over for a while, asked for a count behind, and then mucked his hand.
