When the action folded to Kelvin Beattie on the button he moved all in for his last 70,000 chips hoping to steal the blinds but it wasn't going to be that easy as Christian Heich made the call in the big blind.
Beattie:
Heich:
The board landed and Heich collected the pot to end the tournament for Beattie.
Ben Delaney ran into aces earlier in the day holding (and ultimately lost the hand to Clint Jordanou's ). He ran into aces a second time after he moved all in from the button for 79,000 and Rodney Snider called. Delaney showed and was dismayed to see Snider's . Each player made a full house on a board of . Snider's full house was best. Delaney, therefore, is out.
At this stage of the tournament most of the action is preflop, with players finding a hand worthy of shoving their chips into the middle. This leads to a lot of race situations, as Petar Lackovic just found out when he was all in with against the of Jason White.
This time the race went White's way as the board fell to send Lackovic to the exit. White moves up to 122,000.
We didn't see who was the one to move in first, but Christian Heich wound up all in against Kelvin Beattie. Beattie showed against Heich's but lost the hand. Heich spiked a seven on the flop, , and never looked back. He now has 180,000 chips while Beattie is left to struggle with 70,000.
