David Steicke is the master of the soul read. Few who were there will ever forget the sick call he made near the bubble of the APPT Macau Main Event. He was facing a river all-in bet for most of his stack on a straighting, flushing, paired high-card board. He took five minutes to decide to (correctly) call with ace-high. The point? Steicke's starting table today seems to be finding that out. Looking resplendent in a baby blue sweatshirt and torn pink baseball cap, Steicke pondered a bet of 1,600 from his opponent on a board of {4-Clubs}

. He then calmly moved his whole stack into the middle, inducing a rather quick fold.

"Second all in!" clapped a woman at the other end of the table.

"Your turn next," replied Steicke as he stacked the pot.
