Michael Guzzardi Eliminated in 4th Place (AU$10,290)
Michael Guzzardi got a stay of execution for one hand. He brought it in the very first hand after Van Marcus crippled him. Action folded to Marcus.
"Say please fold and I will," Marcus told Guzzardi. "Otherwise I'll put you all in."
"Please put me all in," replied Guzzardi. Marcus thought it over but folded.
The next hand, however, Guzzardi would get no such favors. He brought it in again and wound up all in against Jarred Solomon. Neither player made a qualifying low. Solomon took the whole pot by rivering a pair of fours against Guzzardi, who finished the hand with / / .
This was Guzzardi's second final table of the 2009 Aussie Millions Poker Championships. His fourth-place finish today earned him a payday of AU$10,290.
