Wardak Moves Nguyen Off a Pot

The Jim Beam Party Crew is rocking the Crown Poker Room. Their man, Saidal Wardak, just took 150,000 chips off of Edison Nguyen. Wardak opened for 30,000 from the button and was called by Ben Delaney and Nguyen. Delaney checked to Nguyen after the flop came down {9-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Nguyen made it 45,000 to go and was called only by Wardak.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}. Nguyen led out again, this time for 75,000, then watched as Wardak moved all in for more than 400,000 chips. Nguyen's cheeks seemed to be rapid-fire trembling as he contemplated his decision, but he finally laid down his hand as the dealer counted down the last seconds of his time bank.

That brought raucous cheers from the Jim Beam Party Crew, which only intensified when Wardak showed {A-Spades} {6-Spades}. After the hand, Nguyen removed his red and white hooded jacket and rolled up his sleeves. Looks like things are about to get bloody!

Second Verse, Same as the First

It's another small pot to Edison Nguyen. He made it 30,000 from the button and both Saidal Wardak and Ben Delaney called. They checked to Nguyen after the dealer burned and turned a flop of {10-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}. Edison calmly used almost all of his time bank before betting 50,000. Each of his opponents folded in turn.

Nguyen Takes Small Pot

We're down to three now, which means things may slow down a bit as the players are once again relatively deep-stacked. Ben Delaney tried to play the role of aggressor in a recent hand against Edison Nguyen. He made it 27,000 to go from the small blind. Nguyen called.

Delaney followed it up with a 32,000-chip bet on a flop of {8-Spades} {7-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}. Nguyen called. Both players checked the {Q-Hearts} turn. On the {3-Hearts} river, Delaney checked and then folded to a bet of 60,000.

Cocktails, to the Secondary Feature Table!

As we've mentioned earlier, Saidal Wardak has a crew of mates, probably about five in total, railing him at this final table. They seem to be in "good spirits", whooping and hollering all of Wardak's pots. They've also procured a "Jim Beam Party Crew" flag and recently came running into the tournament area to wrap it around Wardak's shoulders.

Just another good time at the Aussie Millions!

Sean Keeton Eliminated in 4th Place (AU$47,250)

Sean Keeton - 4th Place
Sean Keeton - 4th Place
...and the freeroll is over for Sean Keeton, just like that. He raised to 75,000 out of the small blind after Ben Delaney opened for 27,000. Delaney made the call to see a heads up flop of {J-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {j-Clubs}. Keeton checked to Delaney, who fired out 80,000 chips. Keeton opted for the check-raise all in, which Delaney snap-called, jumping out of his chair with a cry of "Yeah" and another fist pump after the hands were opened.

Keeton: {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}
Delaney: {J-Spades} {10-Spades}

The board bricked out {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} to send Keeton to the rail. He earned AU$47,250 in addition to the bounties he collected. We now have an overwhelming chip leader in Ben Delaney.

Neil Channing Eliminated in 5th Place (AU$31,500)

Neil Channing - 5th Place
Neil Channing - 5th Place
In two swift hands, Neil Channing went from a sligtly below-average stack to out of the tournament. First, he called a preflop raise to 27,000 from Ben Delaney. Channing check-called 35,000 on the {6-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} flop, check-called another 60,000 on the {Q-Hearts} turn, then check-folded when Delaney moved all in for more than Channing's stack on the {J-Diamonds} river.

The next hand Sean Keeton opened for 30,000 from the button. Channing was in the small blind and moved all in for roughly 170,000. Keeton double-fist-pump-snap-called, tabling {A-Spades} {A-Hearts}. Channing was in serious trouble as he showed {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts}, a hand that was completely crushed. He got no help from the {Q-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} board, departing in fifth palce for a payday of AU$31,500.

Channing was one of the two remaining bounties, so Keeton has earned himself another AU$1,000 with that elimination. He's picked up two bounties at the final table. From here, everything is a freeroll for him.

Cort Kibler-Melby Eliminated in 6th Place (AU$25,200)

Cort Kibler-Melby - 6th Place
Cort Kibler-Melby - 6th Place
Neil Channing opened with a small raise before Cort Kibler-Melby moved all in for 127,500. Action passed to Ben Delaney, who calmly announced call and matched Kibler-Melby's bet. Nobody else wanted any part of the hand, with Channing mucking his cards as if they were on fire when action came back to him. The two remaining players tabled their cards.

Kibler-Melby: {6-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}
Delaney: {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}

Delaney gave a clap and a fist pump upon seeing Kibler-Melby's cards. He had both of Kibler-Melby's suits covered, so there would be no four-flush bad beat. The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {J-Spades}. The turn and river were small blanks, the {2-Spades} and the {3-Hearts}. Kibler-Melby stood up from his chair and shook Delaney's hand before walking off to collect his AU$25,200.

Oh Yeah... the Bounties!

Lost in the excitement of Liv Boeree's elimination was the fact that she had a bounty on her head. Sean Keeton is AU$1,000 richer for knocking her out. Two bounty players remain at the final table: Ben Delaney and Neil Channing.
