Marwan Nassif started the day off well, chipping up early, and was in prime position to move near the very top of the counts when he called the preflop all-in bet of 49,600 made by an opponent. Nassif's opponent had pocket queens, an inferior hand to Nassif's pocket kings. A queen hit the flop, however, to make a set for Nassif's opponent. He never recovered and as a result moved back to join the pack with approximately 55,000 chips.
