Portlen and Copeland Double Up

Eugene Portlen found a double up through Hassan Kamel.

Portlen's {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} made a straight to beat out Kamel's {6-Spades}{a-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} on the {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board.

Portlen is back to 124,000.

Martin Copeland got his cards in bad with an "I'm out". He rivered a set to stay alive and double through.

"See that's what confidence gets you," quipped Trung Tran.

Copeland is back to 74,000.

Khouiss Steaming

Sam Khouiss has been left steaming. Trung Tran caught a straight to outdraw him for the high, and they split the low leaving Khouiss with 36,000.

"Come on man, everytime I get outdrawn. I can't win an all in on this rigged s***," said Khouiss, as he tossed his PokerPro card at the floor.

Herbert Mackay Eliminated

Herbert Mackay has been eliminated by Eugene Portlen. Mackay moved in with {K-?}{k-?}{a-?}{2-?} against Portlen's {J-?}{j-?}{7-?}{7-?}.

Portlen flopped a set of jacks and there was no low.

Mel Judah simply refuses to be eliminated. Even in pots where looks set to be out, he has caught a backdoor low or draw to stay in the game.

More Mel to Love

Mel Judah is back to around 30,000 after tripling back through Hassan Kamel and Eugene Portlen.

"I just tripled through Mel Judah," said Portlen. "That's not what we want," said Dave Morton.

"You guys want me around, so I thought i'd stay a little longer," said Judah as the electronic chips flew his way.

Morton Moves Ahead

David Morton is over 230,000 after taking down serveral pots without showing down. He forced a big fold from Eugene Portlen who hasn't had a thing go right for him since dinner.

Simon Taylor just won a large multi-way pot to move up to 167,000.

Pauchon and Aristidou Out

Yann Pauchon has just been eliminated by Dean Francis.

All the chips went in preflop with Pauchon's {Q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} up against Francis' {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Both players flopped sets on the {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, with Francis turning a flush on the {3-Clubs} turn. The river was the {q-Hearts} to move Francis over 100,000.

Pauchon stopped by to remind us that he is "one of the unluckiest players in the world".

Peter Aristidou was eliminated at a nearby table. Dropping us to two tables.
