Portlen Powering; Kamel Clashing with Aristidou

Eugene Portlen has made a huge comeback. On the brink of elimination early in the tournament at just 375 chips, Portlen has got on a golden run moving up to 188,000. He's currently the chipleader.

Hassan Kamel and Peter Aristidou are getting a little bit of a friendly rivalry. Things got a little chippy between Kamel and Aristidou earlier when Kamel refused to show after winning a hand against Aristidou.

Aristidou looked visibly angry after the hand. They clashed again recently with Martin Copeland, Aristidou and Kamel all contributing 6,000 chips on a flop {k-Diamonds}

On the turn {8-Diamonds}

both Kamel and Copeland checked to Aristidou who fired 26,000. After some thought Kamel moved in for 68,000 and Copeland folded.

Aristidou stared Kamel down until his time ran out and his hand was mucked. "I had a low, but not the nut low," said Aristidou after a while.

Aristidou has 54,000. Kamel is up to 117,000.
