As had become a custom in both the Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold'em rounds, almost every button has been raised with the eventual winner being that player with position.
It seems chip stealing and accumulating is trying to be utilized on these rounds before we are back to the fixed limit games.
Andy Bloch was on the button when he raised to 11,000. He received one call in Maria Ho from the small blind.
Flop:
Both players chacked on the flop to see the roll off on the turn. Ho checked to Bloch again and this time he bet 15,500. Ho thought for only a few moments before sending her cards to the muck and Bloch took down th pot.
The first hand of No Limit Hold'em saw Robert Campbell raise on the button to 9,000. Maria Ho then announced she was allin from the big blind. Ho had only 80,000 behind.
Campbell would make the fold and sent the pot to Ho, who tabled .
Andy Bloch managed to hit some draws in the previous round of Svend Card Stud Hi/Lo and take a bit of a chip lead over the other two, but now it is to the No Limit Holdem Round. Anything can happen.
Justin Smith has taken the moniker of first out on day two of the 8-Game mixed event.
After playing for almost 16 hours yesterday Smith has come back to play for just over 16 minutes before being sent to the rail.
His demise started when he went up against Andy Bloch in a hand of razz and after ending up with only a jack-low it would lose to Bloch's eight-low, leaving himself with under 40,000.
A few hands later would see Smith in a hand of Seven Card Stud against Maria Ho. Smith would be allin on sixth street, holding , with one card needed for a spade-flush. He slowly peeled the card back and noticed it was black but as he turned it over it was revealed to be a club and his hand was mucked to Ho's .
The Full Tilt Red Pro is sent to the rail in 4th place, collecting AUD$35,000.
Robert Campbell has just arrived, jogging to the table and taking his seat. Then there were four. Nothing eventful happened while Campbell was gone, with only a few hands being played.
Welcome back to the Crown Poker Room for the final four of the Event #15: $10,500 8-Game Mixed Event!
After 16 grueling hours, play was halted early in the hours of the morning to come back fresh today to play it down to one champion.
Unfortunately for final tablist David Bach and Full Tilt Red Pro Eli Elezra they went home empty handed and with Mike Watson sent to the rail with a 4th place finish and AUD$20,000 for his troubles, we were down to four.
