Simon Charette and Kosta Varoxis have doubled up, while Waki Waki turned out one of his euphoric celebrations after making a huge call against Ben Vinson as we keep on keeping on in Event #17.
Charette moved the last of his money into the middle before the flop with 
and was called by Josh Tekesky who called with 
, but to his relief, he paired up on the flop of 
before the turn and river blanked out 
, 
to move back up to 140,000 in chips.
A short time later, our field reporter caught the action between Waki and Vinson on the feature table on a board that read 
. Waki fired out a 42,000 after the river and Vinson went deep into the tank before making a crying call, only to fold after Waki showed 
for trip aces. Waki was ecstatic, pumping his fists over Vinson's call, which moved his stack back up over 214,000.
And just before the break, the action folded to Daniel Reijmer who raised from the small blind before Varoxis shoved from the big blind. Reijmer called and showed 
but was dominated by Varoxis' 
, which improved to a set after the dealer spread the board of 
, moving Varoxis up to 150,000.

Simon Charette was crippled down to 73,000 in chips after clashing with Tony Dunst, but Adam Stoneham and Bodo Sbrezsny were both sent to the rail and we're now down to 13 players.
Earlier over on table 15, Charette raised to 6,500 from under the gun and Dunst called from the big blind before check-calling Charette's bet of 7,100 on the flop of 
. Both players checked the turn of the before Dunst check-raised to 40,000 after Charette's bet of 15,500 on the river of the .
As Dunst chipped up to 132,000, Stoneham and Ben Delaney got all their money into the middle over on table 11 on a flop that read 
; Stoneham was gambling with 
but Delaney was still ahead with . Delaney hit his straight on the turn of the and the river 
was of little consolation to Stoneham, who departed in 15th place (AUD $5,400).
A short time later over on the feature table, Waki Waki limped in from under the gun before Sbrzesny shoved for 67,000. The action folded to Stuart Macleod-Smith who called from the big blind before Waki got out of the way.

Lewis was first crippled by Ben Delaney after attempting to fire three barrels at him on all streets across the board of

Down to just 30,000 in chips, Delaney open-shoved from the button with 
, but Andrew Jeffreys woke up in the blinds with , which improved to two pair on the board of

He was soon joined by Ray Ellis, who had moved the last of his short stack into the middle before the flop with , but ran into Josh Tekesky's and was busted in 16th place (AUD $5,400), which held all the way down the board of .

Bodo Sbrzesny managed to score a double-up against Ben Vinson, but Danny Chevalier was eliminated by Daniel Reijmers, who is now holding more than 270,000 in chips.
As Tony Dunst recalled to us, there was heavy betting action between Chevalier and Daniel Reijmers before and after the flop of 
(one spade) before all the money ended up in the middle on the turn of the 
. Chevalier had hit a pair with his 
, but Reijmers' 
hit the on the river to flush Chevalier out in 18th place (AUD $5,400).
Moments later, the cry of "All in and call" went up from table 10, where we saw Sbrzesny in great shape to double up with against Vinson's
