Final Table Jitters
Ben Delaney opened from under the gun and looked rather surprised when he got three callers. Kosta Varoxis called from the button, and both Simon Charette and Waki Waki called out of the blinds.
On a flop of , the action checked around to Delaney who was not scared to open for 22,000. Varoxis folded and Charette thought about it for about 30 seconds before folding, as did Waki.
After the hand Charette said he normally would have made a move there but he was suffering from "final table jitters".
Delaney clearly took advantage of this information and took the opportunity to three-bet Charette's button raise of 13,500 to 48,000. Charette looked disappointed and made the fold.
Delaney moved up to 640,000 in chips while Charette slipped to 520,000.
