Strong Button Play from Rettenmaier
JP Kelly's table was the lone table on the other side of the room, engulfed by small stakes cash games. Thankfully, it's now broken and we can focus on our attentions on this area. Unfortunately for him he's been moved next to the active Marvin Rettenmaier, but at least he is to his left.
This doesn't help much though when one enters a hand from the small blind. There was a raise to 1,500 (yes a 5x) from a player in the hijack, a bet that Rettenmaier and both blinds called.
The flop came and the action was checked to the German on the button who bet 1,125. Kelly was the only caller from the small blind. Both players checked the turn before Rettenmaier bet 3,325 on the river when Kelly checked to him again. The Brit conceded defeat and folded.
