The river card completed the board with the and Ivey checked again. His opponent didn't slow down and fired 7,000. Ivey grabbed the chips to make the call, thought about things for a few seconds and then tossed them in. His opponent then tabled the for a rivered gutshot straight and Ivey mucked his hand.
As the pot was being pushed to the player, Ivey turned towards PokerNews' reporter and said, "There's my lucky reporter," with a wry smile across his face.
