Early Aggression
These players don't seem to be sitting back at all at this unofficial final table. Normally, you see the players hold back and tighten up a bit knowing they have a shot at a major final table berth and also some time on television. Not too mention, there's a A$45,000 prize jump. Here, we've already seen signs of some early aggression.
On the first hand, Mile Krstanoski opened, Daniel Idema three-bet and then Krstanoski came back with a four-bet to win the pot preflop. A couple hands later, Krstanoski three-bet to 170,000 from middle position after Mohamad Kowssarie opened to 65,000 from early position.
Then, a couple hands later, Patrick Healy raised to 75,000 from the cutoff seat and Bjorn Li three-bet to 190,000 from the button. The blinds folded before Healy came back with a four-bet to 500,000. Li folded and Healy won the pot.
