Dominic Coombe Eliminated in 28th Place (AU$30,000)
Level 20
: 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Action folded to Australia's Dominic Coombe in the cutoff and he raised to 26,000. Chip leader Raiden Kan, who hails from Macau, then three-bet to 65,000 from the button, a move that inspired both blinds to get out of the way. Coombe opted to push back with a four-bet to 185,000, Kan five-bet all in, and Coombe called off his stack of what looked to be 600,000.

Coombe was in a bad spot, and his best shot at survival was to catch an ace. The flop was no help, and neither was the turn. Coombe needed an ace and an ace only on the river to double, but it wasn't in the cards as the bricked. Coombe exited in 28th place for AU$30,000 while Kan extended his chip lead.
"The rich get richer," Terence Clee chimed.
