Chance Kornuth limped the button and Igor Kurganov popped it to 200,000. Kornuth then pushed back with a three-bet to 450,000, Kurganov moved all in, and Kornuth snap-called off for 1.61 million.

Kurganov's better half, Liv Boeree, called for a seven from the rail, but it was not meant to be as the board ran out a clean .
Chance Kornuth first lost a small limped pot where he paid off Kurganov on the river to find himself short with just 680,000 in chips.
The next hand saw Igor Kurganov slide a big 25,000-stack worth 500,000 forward to make it 525,000. Chance Kornuth moved all in from the big blind and Kurganov made the call.

The flop was still good for Kornuth, but it did gave Kurganov some additional outs on top of his aces and kings. Kurganov was looking for an ace, king or nine on the turn but didn't get one with the popping up.

Igor Kurganov limped the button and Chance Kornuth checked his option to see a flop. Kornuth check-called a bet of 50,000 and then led out for 75,000 on the turn. Kurganov called and then both players checked the river. Kornuth showed the for aces and threes, and then Kurganov rolled over the for the same hand.
Chance Kornuth raised to 100,000 from the button and Igor Kurganov made the call. Kurganov check called a bet of 60,000 on and check called another 175,000 on the turn. The river came the and both players checked. Kornuth tabled but was beaten by Kurganov who showed for two pair.
In the last hand of the level, Igor Kurganov raised to 100,000 from the button and then called when Chance Kornuth three-bet to 350,000. Both players checked the flop, and then Kornuth led out for 350,000 on the turn.
Kurganov called, the completed the board on the river, and Kornuth fired out 850,000. Kurganov paused for a few beats before announcing he was all in, and Kornuth snap-folded.
While on the rail a girl was shouting on the top of her lungs because she was in some sort of big argument with someone, Kurganov took down a sizable pot when he flopped trips and got check raised on the turn. Kurganov called that check raise and Kornuth and Kurganov both checked the river in that pot. Kurganov took it down as Kornuth had nothing but a missed straight draw.
Not much later it was again Kurganov taking down a big pot. Igor Kurganov had three-bet a 100,000 open to 365,000 twice before, and did so for the third time just now. Chance Kornuth had folded almost instantly the last two times, but now announced to make it 870,000. Kurganov thought about it for a bit before announcing all in. Kornuth instantly folded.
Igor Kurganov raised the button to 100,000 and Chance Kornuth called. The latter then check-called a bet of 80,000 before check-calling one of 215,000 on the turn. Both players then checked the river. Kurganov showed the for a missed straight draw, and Kornuth tabled the for a pair and the win.
