Cohen Plays Bad, But Not THAT Bad
"I've got like three texts from people asking me why I three-barreled on that earlier hand," Sam Cohen said with a smile, as she was still in the middle of a hand. Cohen referred to the only post we've written about her today, but we only reported on the river action, not mentioning any prior betting.
The hand that was ongoing went as following, but it wasn't nearly as exciting as what transpired afterwards.
A player raised to 600 and both blinds, including Cohen in the big blind, made the call. The flop brought out and all three players checked, putting the on the turn. The small blind checked again, and Cohen bet 1,200.
The initial raiser called, and after the small blind folded the river brought the . Cohen casually threw out one chip worth 5,000 and after a while her opponent folded.
Cohen, who chipped up to around 50,000 chips, asked yours truly for a pen and paper to write down the following, and we quote.
"Please disregard earlier posts about Sam Cohen as she probably did play the hands badly, but not as badly as was reported," Cohen's written statement said, as she wanted to clear up not having fired three barrels on the hand she lost earlier today.
Cohen got a good chuckle out of getting texts about a hand she played, which she not only didn't play it the way her friends thought it went, it also wasn't even reported that way.
